I really enjoyed Daniel’s article. I agree with Daniel that Republicans’ efforts to win over minority voters are backwards. We need to reach out to the minority voters who vote Republican and help them to make in roads into the minority communities. We will not win elections by changing our principles, instead we will win by convincing minority voters that our principles are correct.

With respect to Sowell’s article, I do find it ironic that Congress chastised Apple for taking advantage of tax laws Congress enacted. How is this inappropriate?
However, I still think that through lobbying middle class Americans are needing to pay more in taxes because corporations can pay tax attorneys to find “creative” ways to maximize tax savings.
